I would like to thank all of the returning teams as well as welcome all of the new teams to the RAFL. This will mark the fourth season for the RAFL, a year which will bring another great season of football and hopefully another National Championship!

This year’s Super bowl Champion the New Orleans Saints will never be the "Ain'ts" again. After 43 years of being extinct from the big game, they have claimed the title among some of the greats as the best team in professional football for the 2009-2010 season. In spite of the devastating imprint Hurricane Katrina left on the city and state, this team will always be remembered for this fine moment in the history of sports. How's that for will?

Staten Island NY---Monsignor Farrell High School played host to the RAFL Championship last night. In a game that was a high scoring affair, the New Jersey Buccaneers defeated the Virginia Kings 52-30. Both offenses were led by their quarterbacks, Ryan Holmes for the Bucs and Darryl Overton for the Kings, as both were name game MVP’s for their respective teams.
