The Bengals suffered another lost at the hands of the Philadelphia Gators. The gators scored early in the first quarter to go up on the Bengals 8-0. Later in the first half Charles Waugh scored to make

it 8-6. In the fourth quarter the Gators intercepted a pass and returned it for a touchdown to make the score 14-6. With a little more than 3 minutes left to play, Charles Waugh ran a 80 yard punt return for a touchdown to make the score 14-12, but the two point conversion failed.  

 

The defense finally got a turnover as Jerald Hornsby intercepted a pass from the Gators and pitched it to Edward Dover for extra yardage.

Bengals will regroup during their bye week for the stretch run to the playoffs. They still have division games left on their schedule.
