Braves and Piranha Look To Make Claim.......

This weekend, both the Piranha and Braves look to stake claim to their respective Divisions. Each one are fighting for the Division Crown. Here is the Piranha outlook.......

For the fourth time in the past 6 contests, the Central Penn Piranha (13-1) will hit the road for a football game.
Philadelphia will be the site when the Philly Braves (5-2) host the CPP.  The game will take place at Lansdowne Field, on Sunday September 22.  Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 PM.

This is a big game for the Piranha, as they have their sights set on securing the #1 seed in the Southern Conference of the RAFL Playoffs.  Central Penn needs to win their final two games (@ Philly Braves, vs. DC Explosion) to claim home-field advantage throughout the postseason.

All-Time Series Piranha 2-0 CPP 37-12 (July 27, 2013 @ Piranha) CPP 40-6 (May 12, 2012 @ Braves)
Player To Watch WR Butter Brown (Philly Braves) Earlier this season, Butter melted his way through the CPP defense for 170 combined yards (3-145 yards receiving, 2 TDs; 2 rush-25 yards) and scored both Philly touchdowns (80 yards and 54 yards).  In fact, Brown opened up with an 80-yard touchdown catch on the game’s very first play.

But here is the Braves outlook......

"With us having the Central Division lead, we want to beat a major powerhouse, plus letting the league know we are here to compete in the playoffs." Said Owner Jason Patterson. Win or lose, the Braves still have division games left. 1 with the defending Division Champs Philadelphia Gators and the completion of a suspended game with the South Jersey Bengals. With all of this football left, could seal the fate of the Braves for seeding purposes.
