Brooklyn, NY The NY Predators defense came out fast and furious in Saturday's pre-season Jamal Davis Classic match-up against the NY Bandits (FSFL). MLB Damain McCaig set the tone on the Bandits second drive
with a 12 yard Interception return for a TD. The Preds tacked on another score in the second quarter when RB Andre Cirino broke a few tackles on his way to a 30 yard TD run. The Preds added a field goal to their lead before half time taking a commanding 17 - 0 lead into the locker room.
In the third quarter the Bandits scored after a Pred turnover by connecting on a long fade route to the WR putting the score at 17 - 6 but the Preds answered right back with a 75yard kickoff return for a TD by WR Kareen Moon. "That was a big point in the game" said head coach Matt Aeillo "By answering right back we killed any momentum they may have started" he added. The Bandits added a few late scores near the end of the fourth quarter making the final score 24 - 18.
